Opening up my own office has been quite the journey the past several weeks. Having 100% autonomy and zero interior design experience left me in a complete state of overwhelm. The possibilities were endless, and this felt more frustrating than exciting. Do I go with a minimalist Japanese theme to honor my ancestors? Or how about an Indian vibe as a nod to the Hindu monkey god Hanuman? Or perhaps more general, like the universal elements? I wished that someone would just tell me what to do, what I wanted, and what I needed. But I knew that would be disregarding my own intuition, creativity, and sense of self.
It took A LOT of grounding, meditating, resting, feeling, refunds, online and in-person browsing, and re-doing to reach clarity. Having that knowing feeling takes time to build— without falling into the trap of being a mindless consumer, without being part of a trend, without simply copying and pasting an idea, or without putting myself under pressure.
I came back to the question of why I was opening up my own office space and where my journey started. That part was clear: to have all my private sessions under one roof next to the healing vibes of nature. It was the next natural step after conducting +500 psychic mediumship readings the past 2 years at a local metaphysical shop and renting out various spaces in Alameda for private TRE®, Breathwork, and Family Constellations sessions. On the spiritual and healing level, Thailand and Mexico were both places that I learned and experienced much personal growth. I am grateful for all the workshops I attended, the community I had, the blissful nature I was surrounded in, and the genuine warmth and kindness of the locals— where a good heart is the default language.
With my intention paving the way, I started cleansing and creating my office space with the colors, vibe, and mementos inspired by my journey. When we bring meaning to our space, it reflects back to those who step into the space. Everything has a vibration and frequency.
