The buzz of the Summer Olympics inspired me to join my neighborhood swim center and do some laps in the pool. Nothing crazy— just 20 minutes every other day, but enough to boost my energy and experience the camaraderie of fellow swimmers in the adjacent lanes. It's been a delightful reminder that I truly love being in water. It is my bliss. The low and heavy energy that had been weighing me down for weeks has finally sloughed off!
In other news, I started a Mediumship Development Circle a few months ago in Alameda, California. It's been such fun being able to create a space for people to practice their spiritual gifts. We work in pairs, small groups, or the whole circle with various psychic and mediumship exercises. Receiving feedback is the key to progress! For me, mediumship has opened up a whole new world (the Spirit World!) of wonder, warmth, and connection. In about a week, I head off to New York to further my own development with coursework and immersion. I can't wait!
This then leads me to ask: What if we viewed our life journey similar to the Olympics? Can we see it as an opportunity to:
Develop our joy, talents, and skills
Overcome adversity
Imagine the world watching us with hope, excitement, and encouragement
Believe in ourselves
Stay focused
Represent our identity
Show good sportsmanship
Have that spark that uplifts others
Envision your ancestors, passed loved ones, spirit guides, higher self, and future self all rooting for you as you navigate life’s ups and downs. Find those tools and resources to support your well-being and dreams. You can do it! I'm cheering you on.
Be well,
Tammy
